VANCOUVER, CANADA -  The new year always brings new hope, opportunities, and changes. “Move” looks like the theme of 2017.

A realtor and flight attendant from Manila, Macky Valenzuela, plans to work out more and eat better. 2016 has been so stressful for her that she ended up neglecting her health. She will look for more outlets to release the stress like painting and exercising which have proven results for Macky in the past.

Brother Edz Valdez of Grand Knight of Knights of Columbus District 10277, is committed to making the Knights of Columbus more relevant to young and old people alike. He believes that the principles of unity, charity, fraternity and patriotism will appeal to a lot of people who he expects to bring to the fold of the K of C.

Businessman Christian Cunanan will focus on his solar business. His Plan B is to go back to his former work as a machinist. Madz Mercado plans to organize more and elevate basketball tournaments in Canada.

It is that we should have a new soul and a new nose; new feet, a new backbone, new ears, and new eyes. Unless a particular man made New Year resolutions, he would make no resolutions. Unless a man start afresh about things, he will certainly do nothing effective.”
